Blackjackist - "Place 5 bets"?
Main Post:
For those of us who play Blackjackist (Android?), in my SwagBucks goal progress for this game, I see "Place 5 bets" as a goal to obtain 5 SBs. However, what do I place 5 bets in? I assumed it was sport betting, but I have placed more than five bets, won two so far with the rest being losses, and it is not marked as completed. Is it a misprint and I am supposed to win five sport bets? Or are the five bets for a different game within the app? Thank you for any insight.
Top Comment: I found a solution. To claim the reward for this task, you must place bets for 5 days. To earn the "Starter Player" achievement in-game
5 hour layover EWR: Best place to see the Statue of Liberty?
Main Post:
Hey everyone I have a 5 hour layover in EWR from 5 am to 10 am coming up. Mybquestions is: where is the best spot in NJ/NY to see the statue of Liberty? From online research I think ferries would take too long. Want a good view and a good picture!
Thank you!
Top Comment: Is this an international flight? Either way, I think the only way that you could really pull this off with a modicum of safety is to ignore all public transit options and use Uber exclusively. In my opinion you would be insane to try to go into NYC and make it back for your connecting flight. I suppose you’d probably make it, but you’d also probably survive a 50-foot fall. Doesn’t mean you should take the risk. For the best view of the Statue of Liberty from New Jersey, your target is Liberty State Park, specifically this parking lot. That’s going to be about a 25 minute Uber in no traffic. However, you are going to be contending with rush hour traffic — likely in both directions. I always play it extra safe when I’m flying, so if it were me I’d just settle in at the Terminal A Ruby Tuesday’s, have myself a nice leisurely breakfast, and use that time to plan a real trip to NYC. I do think that with Uber or Lyft you will probably be able to do it. But that is a probably, not a definitely — the risk is yours.
